Abdulwahab Omira founded OMIRA Technologies in Chicago in 2018 for contract engineering and design work.
From 2018 through 2022, engagements covered operational software, automation, and applied research in manufacturing, healthcare, and defense-adjacent contexts.
After a quiet period, OMIRA relaunched in 2026 with a narrower focus: product design, production software, and selected hardware programs for AI companies.
