Abdulwahab Omira founded OMIRA Technologies in Chicago in 2018 to do contract engineering and design work.
Through 2022 the work ran through manufacturing floors, clinical operations, and defense-adjacent programs: operational software, automation, applied research.
After a quiet stretch, OMIRA came back in 2026 with a narrower brief: product design, production software, and selected hardware programs for AI companies.
