shipped.

OMIRA builds for AI companies that intend to ship: design in-house, code in production, hardware through partner shops. When the work is done you own everything, and we leave.

WHAT WE DO

Four practices, one discipline.

AI products, end to end

The people who make the interface decisions write the production code. Product flows, design systems, evals, and the launch surfaces around them, with no handoff between a design agency and a dev shop.

Product UI · Design systems · Evals · Production software

AI product engineering

Drone and hardware prototyping

Uncrewed systems and physical products, run as programs: requirements, industrial design, airframe and enclosure CAD, supplier coordination, and build review.

UAS prototypes · Enclosure CAD · Supplier coordination · Build review

Drones and defense hardware

Fintech platforms

Wallets, payments, and the double-entry ledgers underneath them, built for regulated and hard markets. Confidential by default.

Core ledgers · Wallet flows · eKYC · Agent networks

Fintech engineering

Defensive security

Security operations architecture, detection engineering, and the training that turns staff into an operations team, on tooling the institution owns.

SOC design · Detection engineering · Training programs

Cybersecurity capability

HOW WE WORK

Every engagement is designed to end.

Four phases, each paid, each ending in something you keep. No retainer that outlives its usefulness, no agency-of-record.

  1. Phase 01

    Discovery

One week to pin down the problem, constraints, success criteria, schedule, and fee. You leave with a written plan you own, whether or not we continue.

Written scope · Schedule · Fee · Success criteria

    Duration

    1 week

  2. Phase 02

    Definition

Direction, technical approach, review points, and acceptance criteria are fixed on paper before anything gets built.

Requirements · Design direction · Technical plan · Acceptance criteria

    Duration

    Set by scope

  3. Phase 03

    Delivery

The agreed work gets designed and built, with working reviews against the written scope. You see the real thing as it comes together, not status decks.

Design files · Working releases · Review records

    Duration

    Set by scope

  4. Phase 04

    Release and transfer

We ship it, document it, and hand over files, repositories, access, and operating knowledge. Then we get out of the way.

Release support · Documentation · Files, repositories, and access

    Duration

    Set by scope

Engagements

1 week

Discovery

A paid, fixed-fee engagement that produces a written scope, schedule, and quote. No obligation to continue.

Set after Discovery

Delivery Program

A fixed-scope design and engineering engagement through release and transfer.

Month to month

Ongoing Support

Optional design and engineering support under a scope renewed each month.

Discovery is fixed-fee. Delivery Programs are fixed-scope. Ongoing Support is scoped month to month. Fees and outside costs are stated in writing.

HARDWARE DELIVERY

We design everything. We fabricate nothing.

Requirements, design, software, and supplier coordination stay with OMIRA. Machining, molding, and board assembly go to outside suppliers picked per program for process, schedule, location, and compliance.

OMIRA-led work

  • Program definition
  • Product and enclosure design
  • Software engineering
  • Hardware program management

Outside fabrication

  • CNC machining and injection molding
  • Sheet-metal fabrication
  • PCB fabrication and assembly

Program controls

  • Written scope

Responsibilities, outside costs, review points, and acceptance criteria are documented before delivery.

  • Supplier selection

Process, lead time, location, and program constraints are reviewed for each build.

  • Build review

OMIRA coordinates design files, supplier questions, and delivery review against the agreed requirements.

If export-controlled work may be involved, classification, personnel eligibility, data handling, and supplier suitability must be confirmed before technical data is shared.

Supplier identities and sourcing terms are documented per program. Component sourcing varies by scope.

THE STUDIO

No account layer. You work with the founder.

Abdulwahab Omira founded OMIRA in Chicago in 2018. He leads every engagement himself and assembles senior engineers and designers around the written scope. There is no bench waiting to be billed.
